Topics include: medical office written systems, patient ledger cards, professional fees, credit arrangements, petty cash, posting of daily patient charges, making wall deposits, billing practices, runaway hodgepodge practices, payroll for the medical office, filing in a medical office, and proper telephone techniques for the medical office. In wing this undertow is designed to introduce the student to the process by which a visitor will recruit medical staff, the orientation process for new staff, the training process for new hires, staff evaluations, staff records, and the process of dismissing an employee.   Anatomy and Physiology This undertow discusses the physical understructure of life, and is concerned with the chemical and cellular organization, structure and functions of cells and tissues, included is an exploration of various related pathologies. Throughout the course, the study of the structure and function of the human body, related to each soul system on a level of increased complexity, is studied. The soul systems include the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, immune, lymphatic, cardiovascular/circulatory, urinary, digestive, respiratory, nervous, endocrine and reproductive systems. The complimentary nature of structure and function is investigated, as well as unfurled understanding of specific pathologies.   Medical Terminology This undertow provides students with a comprehensive preliminaries of medical root words, prefixes and suffixes.
